This framed original 18” x 24” mixed medium painting was created on a primed wood panel using oil paint. The piece is framed with a black painted wooden floating frame.

The subject is a mother cow cleaning her calf on a sunny summer afternoon, much to the displeasure of the young one.  It captures a moment of tenderness between mother and calf that happens when cows are allowed to spend time in the pasture with their offspring.
