This original 24” x 36” painting was created on a primed wood panel using oil paint.  The panel is 2" deep.

This is an adult male Cape buffalo seen in the Central Serengeti in Tanzania with Off the Beaten Path Safaris. I feel incredibly blessed to be able use Becky Syring’s photographic experience as reference to create my painting of this incredible Buffalo. Cape buffalo is considered one of the most dangerous animals in Africa because of the strong boss, or fused horns, on top of their head.
